Pork Ribs

Sweet 'n' Sour Ribs From Mandy's Kitchen

3 - 4 lb spareribs
1 - 1 ½ cups yellow sugar
1 cup vinegar
2 cups water
3 tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup barbecue sauce
Garlic Powder, seasoning salt, salt and pepper  to taste.

Cut ribs into smaller pieces. Brown in heavy frying pan. Sprinkle generously with garlic powder, seasoning salt, and salt and pepper. When nicely browned, remove the ribs from the pan and drain the excess liquid. Mix cornstarch with sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients into the pan. Simmer until thickened, then add the ribs and cook for 1 - 1.5 hours at 350 F. Yields 4 – 6 servings. Enjoy!
